Wildwood Designs,serving Vancouver and Victoria BC, is driven by an appreciation for the simple raw beauty of wood and a desire to find new ways to celebrate and showcase this beauty. Reclaimed lumber as well as driftwood are the materials of choice, enhanced by a strong commitment to sustainability and a keen interest in the rejuvenation of weathered material. These materials are utilized for the creation of functional, custom built furniture such as dining tables and coffee tables, as well as for sculptural pieces, which often incorporate stone or metal.
Wildwood is also involved in finding practical spatial solutions to commercial or residential spaces where a strong wood-based aesthetic is desired. More contemporary designs include unique staircases, solid counters, bar-tops, mantels and post & beam work.
Wildwood’s designs are inspired by and have a connection to Canada’s rugged west coast. This strong link to the elements helps to bring balance to living spaces where modern design and materials are dominant and a more organic presence is desired.
